The Safehands Group of Companies was formed in November 2011, following the purchase of the majority shareholding by Simon Rigby.
The Safehands Group comprises of :-
The Group’s aim is to provide excellence in the delivery of care to all our customers. We manage this through three distinct operating companies and the range of services embrace domiciliary care, supported living, nursery day care and holidays for the disabled and their carers.
The existence of Safehands has always been based on our ability to provide innovative care solutions for all our customers. Founded in 1997 from an idea to provide a nationwide babysitting service, the business has expanded and diversified its care portfolio, initially through the delivery of care support services to children with disability needs and then more recently into adult care. Close links with entrepreneur Simon Rigby saw him take a minority stake in Safehands in 2007 and the merger of his nursery business into the Safehands branding. The recent acquisition of a failing nursery chain helped strengthen our position in the nursery market further. 2011 saw the acquisition of a prominent hotel in Blackpool and the development of a care business dedicated to providing holidays for disabled people. 2015 saw the opening of a second hotel in Llandudno, North Wales enabling the company to widen it’s holiday operation further.
Quality and innovation lay at the heart of our care portfolio.
We work closely with local authorities to provide tailor made solutions around individual care needs.
We are able to offer complete wrap round business solutions within our nursery sector for the provision of child care with a particular expertise in grant funded opportunities.
The widening of our holiday hotel portfolio has enabled greater access to a wider audience of disabled people who are now able to access quality, affordable, supported holidays in the UK.
Safehands strives to offer you a level of service that matches the unprecedented focus on the quality of the care we provide.
